Default Problems with Quest

Hi All,

Has anyone had problems when ordering Quest batteries? (from the UK site)
I ordered one o 02/12/02, for which payment was taken from my account on 12/12/02, but have not received the Ultra Belt pack yet.
Is it possible that the company may have gone bust or closed down? (although obviously they have taken my money!)
I have sent them lots of emails which are not answered, no-one picks up their phone and faxes do not go through.
I would appreciate any information which might help!

I do not know anything about UK law. In the US, you can protest the charge with your credit company. they will reimburse you the charges after you file an application for stop payment. You would include the emails to show your efforts to obtain your product from Quest.

I have sent two inquiries to them in mid December and have yet received any replies....

Thanks to both.

I am taking the matter up with my credit card company, I do have insurance for this, truthfully however, I would much rather get the charger!

Christmas and New Year are difficult times "post-wise" but I think I should have received some sort of reply by now.

It's beginning to look like they are a one man band....

I will post any new information I come across. There could be a very simple explanation, but this is no way to treat customers.

Hi,

I have now had a reply from Quest. Apparently they have been acquired by General Components Limited and are in the process of moving premises.
They are looking into the whereabouts of my battery pack and will be getting back to me soon, so hopefully all is well that ends well!

I have to say I am very relieved, and can't wait to try out my new battery pack!
