Hello Buglawton,

Thomas Distributing has the BC-900 and offers international shipping.

You will need an adaptor to from the blade plug to what you use, but the power supply will work without voltage conversion.

Thanks! Actually just today I had managed to find this aspractically the only US or Canadian co that ships to UKwithout fuss for this item. For the benefit of other UK punters, their shipping cost to Europe is about 25 USD and they accept Paypal, credit cards etc. I ordered one as nothing like this is available in the UK at the moment. I could have lived without the free accessory pack of 4 AA cells, 4 AAA cells, battery adaptors and a big bag! Never mind, maybe I'll convert every gadget in the house to rechargeable NIMHs !

Advice about the adaptor was also appreciated.

Cheers - Nigel

I had the same problem finding a La Crosse charger in the UK and was going to import from the US but other items I purchaces from the states, was slapped with import charges and VAT!!! I eventually came across a site that imports direct from La Crosse in France and ordered one and received it the next day:-). The site has just started up and was unsure to order from them buthey we all have to start somewhere and I was pleased with the service I received from them. TheirUK site is http://www.digilution.co.uk

Hi, yes I agree - after Ireceived itvia http://www.thomas-distributing.com/l...ry_charger.phpa week or 2 went by then I was invoiced by Fedex for £15 tax.

Great tip abput that UK site http://www.digilution.co.ukshould help others! I DID try to locate this item in Europe but didn't manage to locate it there!

PS the charger is looking good on first testing. You really know where you are with your batteries, the reconditioning function seems towork, and although you can rapid charge, from now on I'm gentle charging.
