I own a sony mvc-fd200 camera.
http://www.steves-digicams.com/2002_...fd200_pg2.html
It has a Sony battery pack 7.2V 5.0Wh Li-ion battery, model no. NP-F330.
It has a Sony AC power adaptor model no. AC-L10A.
When I hook up the camera to the adaptor for re-charge, nothing happens.
Normally a light comes on indicating AC power is on and charging.

I don't know if the adaptor is non-functioning.
I don't know if the battery is non-functioning.

Do I need to replace the battery, or the adaptor?
If so, where can I find a new battery or adaptor and how much will it cost me?

thank you.

Hello Ansel,

If you have access to a volt meter, you can take some measurements and probably figure out what is going on.

Another thing may be to hook up the power cord to the camera, remove the battery, then see if the camera powers up. I believe it is OK to do this, but check your operators manual for any cautions against it. This would give you an indication if your power cord is working.
