Sooooooo, it's about a year after the origional post. I, literally, just bought the Lightning Pack 4000N. I haven't had much experience with it yet. Is it one of the "best" chargers? Is there a better one that you'd recommend these days?

Lightning Pack 4000N is a nice little charger that charges reasonably quickly without heating your cells too much, thus prolonging the service life of your cells. The main drawback of this charger is that it only charges cells in pairs. If you only need to use 2 or 4 cells and keep them reasonably balanced (equally discharged) it should do fine. I use mine as a travel charger and sometimes at homeand it performs nicely.

I need 4 at a time for my camera (2 for random kids toys), so that's great. But, overall, is there a "better" charger for a similar price?
