I recently got a charger that came with four 2000 mAh batteries. i want to get another set of four batteries so i will have spares ready when i travel and was wondering if I should get the higher mAh like 2300 or 2400? Will the higher mAh charge fine in the charger and work fine in the camera or is there some reason I should stick to 2000?Thanks.

First tell more details about that charger, like make and model, does it have own led for every cell.

EDIT: Sure you can use higher capacity cells with dumb timer charger but you won't get full capacity.

That's fine, just don't mix the different batteries together in the cam or charger.

You can charge any capacity battery in the LaCrosse charger even AA and AAA in different slots. It is best to pair batteries of the same capacity in hard duty like a camera.
