Hello

My laptop and treo 650 have lithium batteries, and I keep them topped up all the time, they never drop below about 70%

My camera has a lithium battery and I always let it run down to the bottom, before recharging it, risking it dying in the middle of taking the best photo in the world!

It has slowly (I'm a bit thick) dawned on me that this is totally illogical.

Is it OK to keep camera batteries topped up, charging them every 2 days or so? (apologies if you've done this one to death already, i'm new here and there's millions of posts :-) )

Thank you.

Hello Dochog,

In constant use, Li-Ion chemistry prefers to be top up frequently andnot run all the way down.

In storage conditions, run down to around 50% and keep in a cool place.
