I have a OLYMPUS camedia Ni-MH battery charger BU-300. Would my Sony Ni-MH rechargeables work with this charger? They are Ni-MH AA typ. 2500mAh. Also on my charger if the Sonys can charge on this battery pack when should I know they are fully charge. A solid red light always shows, should it be a solid green light. Thanks for your help.

Take a look at the specs of your charger at

http://www.olympus.co.jp/en/support/...an_bu300_e.pdf

It is a timer controlled charger, which charges at 240 mA for 9 hours. This means that your 2500 mA cells will not be fully charged ( 9*240=2160). For your 2500 mA cells at this current it takes 14-16 hours to reach full charge. Also, if only partially discharged cells are inserted it may overcharge them.

I'd recommend to get a better charger, such as Lenmar Pro66 or Mach1 Gamma. These will charge your cells much faster (in about 70-80 minutes) without risk of overcharging.
