Hi all,

My mom picked up this battery plus charger pack for me.
Its an energizer 2500 NiHM with charger. Not sure what model number. (photo attached. It takes 15 hours to charge.

Just wanna know if this is good enough or should i bring it back and get something else before i open it up.

That's about the best battery you can buy.

The battery is good... but 15 hours seems WAY too long...

I had asimilar one to that one but mine was the rapid charge and would charge in a couple hours. It worked really great and the batteries lasted about 2 years and I had to go get new ones but the charger itself worked perfectly!

The cells are made by Sanyo and thus very good.

The charger is a slow, timer-controlled one-not so good.

I personally had bad experiences with the Energizers, namely the 2500's, I went throuh several sets. Here's my thread http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...mp;forum_id=51
I just purchased some Duracell 2500's and they are performing much better than the Energizer 2500's ever did.

Hi,

I bought the same model but i had bad exprience with it. The batteries discharge very fast. The charger is good and now I'm using Sanyo 2500 with the Energizer charger. The Sanyo works fine and I i like it .
