What do you guys rec that have a long life and that are of good value. I'd like to keep it under 60. Thanks!

Try the Sanyo 2700 batteries...they are probably the best. The Lightning Pack chargers are pretty good, too. I've used both the charger and the Sanyo 2500's...good combination. You can get 8- 2700's with a charger, and stay within your budget.

I am using Maha 2700's in my Canon S2IS. Be aware that peoplehave found the Sanyo 2700s to be a tight fit in the Canon S3IS. You can read more about it here http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...ghlight=14.4mm
