I drink nothing but Coke Zero. My kids on the otherhand, like drinking 7Up. But for a break we all love Dr. Pepper. By the way, in my opinion, while shots like this are good for nothing, they are a good exercise to practice lighting, composition and some Photohop. All time well invested.

Bynx,
One could be contrary and say it takes 3 cans of coke to equal one can of 7-up but we won't go there. I think you hit it right on the head, "By the way, in my opinion, while shots like this are good for nothing, they are a good exercise to practice lighting, composition and some Photohop. All time well invested." Over the years, I've found that time invested in similar exercises really helps me compose macro shots more intelligently. You've got only so much space and you got to really make the object pop out. Yu also think about lighting - where's the light coming from, what type is it, how bright is it? |

Nice one, Bynx.
I agree on the exercise part of this challenge. Part of my challenge taking shots indoors is to find a spot to take them without clutter in the background.:-) So, must really think about the composition. And, the weather is forcing me to think more indoors right now. Patty |

I agree fully with all that has been said. I really like the dark background. It makes the lighting really stand out.
Sorry, but my drink of choice is Caffiene free Diet Pepsi! Cal |

Nice control of the lighting, no bright reflected light. BTW, I drink Real Coke.
