The mocking bird in one of our earlier post was smart enough not to enter the eagles nesting area . . . This osprey did not heed the warning and got too close to the nest. The eagle was not happy

Thanks everyone. Bernice, The action happened so fast, we are not sure if the eagle made contact with the osprey or not, but it did change directions and high tailed it out of there.

Another vote for "WOW!" An awesome shot, while I've seen birds trying to chase off another, I've never seen a bird almost fly/attack upside down. I've seen them dive-bomb another bird mostly. Incredible shot!
