Default Blue- Out of the Blue

Well, the ocean is sort of blue. Perhaps more steel blue. I was at the Cape Cod canal earlier this week when a Northeaster hit the region pretty hard. I was there with a friend taking photos of the ferocity of the ocean, when an officer in the Coast Guard came running up to us to tell us that one of his crew was taking out a 45ft response boat for maneuvers. This is one of the images captured.
The next day, when I went to the station to give him the photo, he got so excited that they submitted to the region office which, in turn, posted it on their
Facebook page.

We are blessed with some pretty brave men and woman who risk their lives to save others.

So you want to be a better photographer? Open your eyes and take a look at what is all around you.

Wow, "brave" seems like an understatement!! What a great shot and a nice tribute to them.
