I was trying to capture Venus in the predawn light about 45 minutes before sunrise. This was the result. Which was a little surprising because there was nowhere neat this much color to the naked eye. I had to use a flashlight just to see my settings. Serendipity lives yet again.

The colors are striking! I was about to complain about the focus until I discovered I was looking through the top of my glasses (bifocals)! Great capture.
