Thanks for your kind comments.
The Kennedy Performing center is not normally on the list of places to visit while in DC since the Mall and the White House dominate the list of places to visit.
It's not too far from metro downtown and the mall and for your convenience a free shuttle takes you to the center from the subway. There are free guded tours and free performances regularly by a wide variety of artists. The price can't be beat.
You get a commanding view of the Potomac from the balcony of the Kennedy performing center.
