Default Circles and Triangles -- Seen at the beach

There is a big pro/am surfing contest going on at the pier, so I went down to take some shots of the contestants. While there, I kept looking for possible shots to meet this challenge.

This one was courtesy of a frustrated surfer who must have broken his board.

Later I spotted this inverted water sprinkler main cover amidst cigarette butts and shrubbery.

Although not the most artistic shots you have shown us, they do meet the challenge. That first shot seems to tell a story. You told us your interpretation of that story but maybe it is something totally different.

Right, turns out the surfer broke the board over the Judges head. A lousy loser...

OK! There is something I don't understand here. All of the surfboards I have seen are made of a strong wood core with an equally strong fiberglass shell. How do you break one of those things?

Very strong waves, no joking.
