Welcome aboard, Musket. I see that you are not new to Steve's forums but are new to this forum. I hope you like what you see here and enjoy yourself. We have a new "challenge" (assignment) every two weeks and everyone gets a chance to critique everyone else's work. It is not a contest.

I am looking for a face in this photo and think I see it...maybe! Near the upper left corner is a circle of blue and just above that sort of a circle. I think those could be eyes and the layer of cloud between them a nose. If I am missing something please tell me.

You said you were shooting through your sunglasses. Were you using them as a ND filter? The is the mark of a good photographer to be able to improvise when the proper tools are not immediately available.

Cal

Thanks. Yes I was using my sunglasses as a polarising filter

and yes the face you depict is one, the others maybe less obvious

are on the clouds i have snipped some and re-pasted on top of this

photo

maybe faces in clouds have a lot to do with the imagination of the beholder :-)

The photo is dramatic but my imagination has run dry at the moment. I can't see the faces.

I see a turtle with a snake/beast about to eat him.

Not sure what that is supposed to mean. Some nightmare I must have had recently :-)

Beautiful sky.
