Actually I grabbed coins from my daughters coin box. It just shows you that American and Canadian coins are treated the same here.

They may be treated the same but they're not worth the same. Anyway, I counted four American Pennies and one American Dime.
Is the first shot color or monochrome. It looks like monochrome but then silver coins don't have much color. American silver coins such as the quarter and I think the dime are made from sandwiched alloys with copper in the middle. The copper can be seen on the edge of the coins. Cal |

Take a look around the edges. I see 3 silver American coins and 6 copper.

I never paid any attention to how many of each there were but I see 10 American pennies and at least a dozen American nickles, dimes and quarters. Ive been collecting the American quarters, one from each state. But this isnt a challenge to find the coins. Its supposed to be about color. The colors I chose are monochrome, silver and copper.
And Cal. American coins have always been treated as equal value to Canadian coins. The mixture of American coins in our money has increased over the years. |

Bynx,
Great idea. I a just wodering the first transition I assume is from silver or other base metal to copper. Possibly indicating a devaluation of the economy? Or is it my monitor screwing up on the colors (note I didn't blame my aging eyes.) Here's a thought, how about leaving them in their originals colors and then changing your second one to gold color and naming it the Midas touch... Aloha |
