It seems that those towers of power are not just for high voltage transmission lines anymore! Apparently cell phone companies are running out of locations for their antennae. I have seen them on buildings, water towers, and, as shown here, HV transmission towers. Here are a couple shots of some multitasking in my neighborhood.

Are these all individual companies' aerials, or are they directional? Seems to me there's scope for some co-operation, here.

The examples in these photos are probably all owned by one company. If you will notice, in the second photo, the antennas surround the tower. They are hightly directional so it takes quite a few to cover the full circle.
