Wild roses bloom across the tracks from Deeside Power Station this afternoon, with its peripheral power lines, cooling towers and switchgear. The Flint cable-stay bridge is visible in the distance. You've seen some of these objects before, but not so nicely decorated.

Alan, it seems that this site would have been good for the "telephone reception bars" challenge some months back. Those cooling towers are perfect.
There is quiet a stark contrast between the technology and the pretty wild roses in your shot. Cheers, Steve |

Nicely done, Alan. As with my wind turbine photo, the contrast between the stormy sky and the white stack and light gray cooling towers makes for a very striking photo. The wild roses are the frosting on the cake.
