Curmudgeon commented earlier that he liked shots of orchids that showed the inside close-up. Hope this fits the bill.
The following is an archival shot that was actually posted several years ago for another challenge. I'm re-posting to show what can be done with a 2MP fixed focus P&S (HP315) and an inexpensive ($20) macro add on for the lens AND a bit of patience. This was taken some 11 years ago duirng the dark ages of digital photography... ![]() I also did some heavy editing of another version of a similar orchid except it was plain white and the results can be seen as an abstraction below. That first one is outstanding - thanks for reminding me that cameras with few MP were once top-of-the-line. The second one is certainly interesting, would never have guessed it was a flower, neat abstract patterns.
