This was a little fluidity during a recent class outing at a local pool.

Taken during another school outing. This is a created waterfall at the Smokey Hill Animal Refuge. They have a huge building (larger than a football field!)brimming with one of the world's largest collection of preserved wildlife in natural settings.If you look closely at the pictureyou can see several animals lurking around the fluidity in this shot.

Great shot. I see some animals on the right. Are they real or is this a historic diorama. It looks like there are some natives or early cave dwellers on the rocks.

I love this shot. The animals must be stuffed. I see a large boa constrictor on the top left. Surely it wouldnt be in same area as monkeys and deer. That aside, I think the water is breathtaking. Thanks.

This is just one of the many dioramas in a really BIG building. There are lions and tigers and bears (from grizzlies to polar) Oh My! Sorry about that, being from Kansas I just couldn't resist the Oz quote. It is truly awe inspiring the huge variety of beautifully preserved animals of every shape and size (yes, there are elephants) that are presented. All in truly beautiful and lifelike settings. I have been through at least three times, and noticed something different each time-sometimes just a tiny bird perched on a branch. The photo opportunities are endless, but unfortunately I was always with a school or daycamp group, so had to be quick about whatever I was attempting. The waterfall was a 5 second exposure and I was fortunate that there was a handy-dandy railing that I could use to place the camera on, since I had no tripod. Thanks for your positive comments.
