Here is a half head of cabbage that sat in the refrigerator too long. When it came out of the refrigerator, it had a large bulge in the center. Then it sat in the laundry room wastebasket for several days. When I went to empty the trash, this is what I found. I really think this cabbage wanted to continue living!

Nikon D100, Sigma 28-70mm f2.8 lens.

That cabbage has certainly takenon a life of its own. Oh, I think I have some tomatoes out in my outside refrig from last monthI better go check.

Interesting. I have seen potatoes developing warts and roots, and other seeds/cereals sprouting. I have never heard or seen a cabbage growing like this.
