Food: Nepalese

Visited a Nepalese/Indian restuarant a few days ago. The food is similar to Indian with the emphasis on lamb and chicken and some seafood.
The sauces are yogurt based with some ginger and cilantro thrown in.
You can have the heat level (spiciness) adjusted to your personal liking.
Lower left we have a Masala curry with a medley of lamb, chicken, shrimp and vegetables. An assortment of grilled meats on the right and at the upper left what I called a Nepalese version of Chinese fried rice containing, chicken and lamb with what had to be frozen mixed veggies (corn, peas, carrots) in the rice.

An appetizer of lamb, with assorted veggies done Nepalese style accompanied by a thin almost cracker like bread and a yogurt based sauce flavored with cilantro and ginger.http://www.pbase.com/selvin/image/142889713.jpg

I love to see the wonderfully colorful food of other areas. Makes my dinners seem rather dull.

vsch1,
I hadn't noticed before but you're right the food is very colorful unlike say mashed potatoes, steak, and beans. To each his/her own.
