![]() Thank you, it was just as amazing to actually be there. I went out to that location that evening on a hunch, and it paid off quiet nicely I think.

I was very surprised to see that Great Horned Owl sitting in that Willow tree....And so totally exposed. Usually, they are hidden deep against the trunk with a mass of stringy branches obscuring them from any good photo. I had a good 20-30 minutes of shooting before I decided to moved on. After trying for 5 years, this was the first, only, decent owl I had ever photographed. One week later there was a pair of Great Horned Owls sitting in that same tree. Go figure.
