Nice shot but the glasses are distracting. I think I might have asked her to remove the glasses for the shot.

I disagree Cal. With a child, I think glasses add to the character of the portrait. Nicely done.

Nice photo of a cute kid, but I agree with Cal that the glasses are a bit distracting in this shot. They are 1) too old for her and 2) sit too low and the top of the frame crosses her eye. It's the background that bothers me more, though, with the high contrast pattern tending to draw my eye away from the subject. The lighting, exposure and backlighted hair are excellent, though.

That's quite a diversity of opinions. I'll cast my vote for the the shot with its candid nature plus the highlights of the hair is a winner.
