Glass- Bead
I was going to re-create this shot of a wind chime glass bead for the challenge. However, the wind chime was destroyed while replacing the deck from which it hung. So, into the archives I go.

Here is the upper portion of the wind chime.

That is a gorgeous piece of art. Fun to photograph, i bet.

Tis no more? A pity. I hope you could save the ball with the S shaped copper holder. Nice shots. Do you have a shot of the complete chime? She was a beauty.

I think I've seen this wind chime before. Have you posted shot of it previously in this forum? If so, it's not a problem. These are beautiful shots. Thanks for posting and welcome back to the forum.

Bynx, I do still have the pieces and the ball.Truth be told, the whole intact wind chime is not nearly as interesting as it's parts.
Cal, now that you mention it, I think I have used this subject for another challenge. However, what that challenge was I can't seem to remember. Thanks for the welcome back. I never really left in that I checked out the forum on a regular basis. I hope to start posting new, original material again. Cheers, Steve |
Very nice shots.

SMAC,
That's quite a work of art. I've always admired the artisans who fashion these objects. nice catch. Thanks for sharing. |
Eye catching shots. Nice submissions.

Hi Steve
I also appreciate both shots. The rainbow colours in the first one (and good dof) as well as the interesting patterns of the 2nd shot. Both great! Thanks for sharing! Makes me want to get a wind-chime like that now! Paul |
