I was expecting an insect but quite pleasantly surprised by the almost ice-like appearance of the beetle.

I wonder what would happen if you were to shine a colored light on/through it? Cool subject at any rate.

Even better, place it in the sun and shoot it with a polarizing filter. You should get some interesting color effects.

The optical qualities of the glass make the seats look weird.
