Beautiful shot, Tulio. How about trying the same setting with the glass empty for comparison.

Interesting you mentioned the orientation of the shot, Walter. I actually took some horizontal shots as well and did not like the results.

I thought the colors reflected by the designs on the glass looked nice. I still need to shoot with the vase empty (as Cal suggested) to see how it compares. My guess is that it won't look nearly as attractive.

Beautiful. Wouldn't change a thing. The bokeh fuscia petal helps keep the expanses of crystal and water from making the photo too cold and sterile. And (maybe only in mind) it adds implied height to the subject, subtly reminding the viewer there are flowers up and out of frame. Well done.
