Shot a couple of houses in my neighborhood that were decorated for holidays.

Nicely done. I really like the first one, the full moon is a major plus!

Both beautiful shots but a couple questions...
Was the moon in that actual position during the shoot or did you paste it in. Second, it appears that your white balance is off a bit in both shots. I have found that for best results in shooting Christmas lights, the WB should be set for incandescent. Cal |

Im busted. The moon was an after thought. It never appears when you want it. Ive also addressed the WB problem. Does it look better now. I also fixed a few missing lights and removed the car. I need to crop the picture to 8 x 10 inch proportion and the car was in the way. Also to aid in this I had to squeeze the picture horizontally a bit. Would you have noticed if I never said anything?

Very nice shots, Bynx - I second dcg0317's comment, the adjusted one without the car looks better than the first one.

Very nice. Good magic with Photoshop! I don't know how you do it, but even the reflection is there.

Cheater, cheater on the moon, but man does it work. Looks like the man in the moon looking down on the house.

The reflection is from the light on the garage wall. After removing the car I just selected an area of reflection from the left lamp slightly larger than the area the car covered, flopped it horizontally and pasted it in position under the right lamp. Then with a fairly large eraser and hardness set to 0 I erased around the edge of the paste up so it blended in with the ground. Luckily the garage doors are the same so cloning in the missing corner was easy. But the hardest part was rebuilding the brick wall. There wasnt much to work with from the left side so it was a lot of guesswork. By the way, these are both 3 or 4 shot HDR.
