Some cities have a Christmas tree. Some (may still) have a Nativity scene. Here in Huntington Beach we have a pier. So, we hang some lights and enjoy their reflection as dusk gives way to darkness.

Hi Walter,
I like both of these shots. The sky and the reflections are beautiful. Merry Christmas |

Yes, there is certainly a dog beach here in Huntington Beach. It's probably a half mile long and there are always scores of dogs and their owners to be seen. They don't have to be on a leash if they are well behaved, but you can't always count on that. We have a couple of Japanese Chins but, when we let them off their leashes they just take off. So, we walk them on leashes down near the pier where our male makes certain that every trash barrel and palm tree is suitably marked with his scent. Walter |

Walter, I like the second shot the most. It shows a lot more detail than the first.
We don't have any dog beaches here in Portland but we have quite a few dog parks including one really nice one. Cal |

This shot I really like. It would be a great example of perspective or symmetry. Oh I see Huntington Beach has stolen the Haufbrau House logo from Munich and taken it as their own.
