I've been trying for weeks to capture this and this is the best I can come up with. I'm either there too late, too early or don't have a tripod with me.

Here it is with a little shadow/highlght and exposure from Photoshop. While not good, it does show us what we are looking at.

Thanks, vsch1. I like the simplicity of it.
Sorry about the darkness, Bynx. I had intentionally left it dark as whenever I look at photos on my monitor at work or on other people's monitors they end up looking overexposed. I thnk this one was a little too dark now that I look at it at work. I can lighten it up just a little. Patty |

I like the darkness of the house with the tree "looking out" of the door to see what is going on outside!!

I'd love to go get a shot showing the inside of the barn lit up by it. But, am afraid to go knock on their door.:O

Nice work, Nhmom. As Bynx has mentioned, I don't like all white lights as Christmas/Holiday decorations. However, this shot shows an unusual holiday display. It is not often one sees a holiday tree in the doorway of a barn.

Thanks, Cal. I should go take a shot sometime during the day of the whole structure. They've spent the last few years rebuilding it with the old timbers. The underneath part with the stone had to be redone. Imagine it had all shifted over the years. They did a wonderful job.
