Thought i'd give you all another look at the icy shores of the big lake they call Gitchee Gumee (in the immortal words of Gordon Lightfoot).

I lived in Marquette, Michigan for awhile, whereI learned to love and respect the majestic beauty of Lake Superior in all seasons. There is something very spiritual about that region. Now I live in Texas, far from Hiawatha's home. Your photos bring back happy memories, and make me homesick. Thank you for sharing them.

Great photo. I like how you captured the ice but kept a visual of the open water in thebackground.
