.........this was the marquee carving for the ICE 2006 exhibit we (my family) visited at a local resort hotel. It was quite interesting and COLD at 6F.

I find it interesting this fascination with ice for recreation even in warm climes. Yes, even in paradise ocasionally someone dumps a truckload of crushed ice for everyone to pretend they are on the slopes of Vail. I shouldn't complain too much since the sand carving contests could be viewed in a similar vein. Your shot seems rather subdued, maybe the lighting conditions were a bit diffcult? Aloha |

So, using my Olympus C-7070 I just pointed it and when it auto focused, or when I thought it had auto focused.......... Idid the routine, press shutter button and return camera to inside of parka and get back in line to the next display. thanks for your comments __________ boBBrennan |
