That's the look I wanted to create when I was debating what to do with this 1948 Buick Super "Woody" station wagon, as shown here. How would it have looked when new...and in what kind of setting?

And, so, I added several components such as the Carnegie Art Museum in Oxnard, Calif., an iron gate in Cleveland, Ohio and a paving stone shot from a German village area here in Huntington Beach. Changed everything to B&W and then added sepia. C&C welcome.

Looks nice, but the reflections on the car remaining from the original shot are distracting now
![]() .. but I guess it's not easy to remove them...

That's some classy chassis! I am not as bothered by the reflections. But I know how much work you put into this only to be told now that the shadow under the car isn't quite accurate. The wheel fenders (?) shouldn't be casting a straight shadow. Note your original. Pretty deft work with blending the different layers. Aloha |
