This is a conversion of a South Bronx scene using the watercolor effect. I have mixed reaction myself but here goes:

I keep wanting to like that effect but just can't. I found it works better for me when there is relatively little detail in the picture.

I missed this one earlier. I think I prefer the first one also. The bottom part of the effect works well, but the detail gets lost in the top part of the cityscape.

Like the first shot because you see the few single family home that are still standing in the mist of all the apartment buildings. BTW, I didn't know you had a Bronx area there on the island too.
