Just a few days ago Kamehameha the first King of Hawaii to unite the major islands was honored. In the procession were members of the Royal Order of Kamehameha dressed in their traditional black suits with feather cloaks. Note, this is in the mid-day sun. The ladies are of course members of the Daughters of Kamehameha club. the statue has a black hue and was created by an Italian artist which probably explains the Romanesque figure.
They are either in white or traditional black. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by selvin; Jun 18, 2010 at 7:33 AM. |
