No filter but probably the wrong camera settings. It was a straight shot by candle in a dark closet. Glad I did not burn the house down.

I like it. The character in and sober expression on the man's face are great. It almost looks like you traveled back in time 100 years to take the picture. I also like the almost painted look.

Beautiful! No problem with camera settings. That is exactly how I would expect a candlelit portrait to look. The warm color of the flame enhances the subject.
