Sufficeth to say the lines are obvious. Not sure about the BW treatment, a purely personal observation.

What are these objects? The first looks like part of a commercial printing press. The second, I have no idea.

hey Cal,
you're close,;) the first is the underside of a large folder.
will fold sheets up to 20"x34" if I remember correctly.
the second is a close up of a machine used to punch holes in paper. for example, you can take a ream of 20lb. bond (that's 500 sheets of standard copy paper) and drill say...3 or 5 holes in it all at once for a note book binder. I'll have to see if I can find a picture of the whole machine to post.
