I am having fun trying to guess what the objects in your photos are. This appears to be a metal shear with that long sharp blade. Excellent shots.

I think we have been looking at bindery equipment. I think a collator, a folding or assembly machine and the last is a guillotine for cutting paper. Is it by chance a Polar?

Ah... you guys are too sharp for me to fool. Thank you for the compliment Cal.
Bynx, your good! collating tower (1 of 5)on the Multi- press I run. folder was right, bottom side. And guillotine paper cutter is correct! Challenge though, not Polar. Sounds to me like you've been around the printing biz… I thought I had a shot of my system but, I must have deleted it so I'll post this one of my buddy Steve working on one of the towers. I'm just glad I don't have to do that! |
