I love this challenge idea, and my first submissions will be a couple of little bits of iconic corporate culture up close and personal
![]() ![]() Both shots were taken with the Pentax K20d in full manual mode using a Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 Di LD Macro lens with stacked 20 and 12mm macro extension tubes. In both cases the front of the lens was nearly in contact with the subject. Exposure data for both shots....ISO 250, 1/13th of a sec, f/32.0. Natural light (semi-sunshine) was used for both. Shots were hand-held using Shake Reduction because a tripod couldn't be manipulated into the right position for the shots. Shot #1 represents a crop of about 1/4 of the original image. Shot #2 is nearly full-frame. Post-processing was limited to levels and sharpness. Paul |

The first shot looks like the Chevy logo on a headlight or tail light. The second looks like a Ford logo a floor mat.

Rim of a tire. Right you are flutelady. I wondered what that thing sticking up was. Its the wear indicators. Is that a Goodyear tire?
