I was changing the battery in my daughter's watch tonight and thought about the challenge. :-)

This was taken with a Fujifilm F40fd. The camera was auto everything with the macro feature turned on. Lighting was with Philips daylight compact flourescent bulbs. I shot it handheld.

For handheld thats amazing focus job. Nice one Doc. Next time get in so close you cant easily identify the original object.

Ditto what Bynx said. Seeing this shot reminds me of what I miss in mechanical watches--all the wheels, gears, and springs!
