It looks like I've used up my "sun allotment" until Tuesday at the earliest - rain and clouds in the forecast.
Facing West, I took this last night in my back yard about 10-minutes before the official sunset. I was going to re-shoot this tonight with some differences, but it's totally overcast and will remain that way. I cropped some off the bottom. I'm sure the wires will turn some people off, but I don't mind them too much. The reality of urban life. Mike ![]() |

A pity you lost to the overcast skies because this would have been interesting with the indigo blue of the "magic hour". Despite the power lines, yes they are a part of urban reality.

I don't mind the powerlines either except for the top horizontal line.

Thanks for the comments, selvin and 2morrow. Yeah, that top power line is pretty bold! In a surprise move, it looks like nature will provide some sun today, although I'm not sure what this evening will turn out like.
