Along with trains I would have to say airplanes are a close second. Hereare a couple of crop dusters working in our area afew weeks ago.

Great action shots of the crop dusters. It is interesting that you got the speed limit sign in the second shot. I'll bet that plane is going at least 90 mph! Also, the plane in the first shot seems to be spraying awfully close to that farmhouse.

Thank you Mugmar and Cal! I took these with my new NIKON 70-300/4.5-5.6G AF-S VR lens, so I was a safe distance away. I love this lens, it has made shooting so much more fun! Cal, he was pretty close to that place, I was suprised just how close.

Great shots Bob. That first shot looks like an R/C (radio controlled) plane. By catching it between the trees it gives the illusion of being much smaller. My guess is that it was on the other side of that house.
I have a scale R/C model of a DeHaviland Chipmunk that the late great Areobatic pilot Art Scholl used to fly. It even trailed smoke too. I love that shot. Steve |
