I rediscovered the fun of building and collecting Lego.

When I was a kid there was Minibricks. Made of rubber they came in reddish brown and white and locked together similar to Lego. There just werent as many shapes so construction was more primitive. Nice job on your creations as well as the photos showing them.

I can recall stepping on those...man, they hurt. My son spent hours putting them together. The vacuum claimed an awful lot of the smaller pieces.
Love the ferry. |

Very cool. My son would be jealous of the colors and shapes you have there for building. Weren't like that when he was growing up.
And, yes, I remember the pain of stepping on them. Especially in the middle of the night in the dark when you were trying not to wake the sleeping child.:O Patty |

Thanks.
I too have stepped on many of my kids' Lego bricks. The most painful ones were the 2x2 square bricks. I made a house rule that if I stepped on it, it's mine. It seemed to stop my kids from leaving their Lego all over the house. But that didn't stop our cats from picking up small pieces in the kids' rooms and dropping them around the house. |

Wonderful job constructing and photographing the blocks. Unfortunately they weren't part of my childhood. Maybe if they were I wouldn't have learned to read.. just joking.
