After beautiful women and yogurt, my little Fuji S700 is my favorite thing. This is a self portrait using a bathroom mirror and a hand held mirror. No flash of course. The only monkeying I did to the pic was to blurr the background which was a sheet my son was holding up. There was some problem with shooting through the glass that caused a kind of ghosting double edge around the camera. By the way this is the Fuji Finepix .8 Conversion Lens screwed on the camera lens for those interested in one of 2 lens attachements available for this camera.

I like this! I don't think I could the helpers needed to pull it off though.

Ya, I kinda like this too. What I like is the idea that it is an almost sideview of a camera taken by the camera itself. The bathroom mirror was stuck on the wall. The other mirror was a large one borrowed from a neighbor. It was positioned at almost 90 degrees so I was actually taking a picture of a double reflected image. Thats why the type you see in the image is all correct and not reversed like you would get if it was just reflected once.

Bynx,
If you had not remidned me about the double image reflected twice I would have completely missed that and missed a significant part of the effort required ro photograph this fav tool of yours. Cheers for some creative work... |

Thanks Selvin. Its always nice when an abstract idea comes into being. Playing with mirrors is both a challenge and an interesting adventure.

Cool photo Bynx!
I like the lighting effect... "you done good"! Where would be without your willing son to help out in so many photos? Your Fuji S700 has one fantastic owner! Have a good weekend Paul |
