As I stated when this challenge started while I was in Quebec,it was my favorite thing right then. It still is now that I'm finally getting to go over my trip again by viewing my photos.
Here's the Chateau Frontenac at night. Patty |

And, here's a shot taken earlier in the week while on the ferrywhile crossing the river. It was quite an experience. I'd never done that before.

Both shots just excellent. The first I like the moon and glowing clouds. The second I like the large picture window giving us the view of 2 people looking at the Chateau. Great job.

I dont think there is a high school graduate in Ontario that hasnt spent some time in the Chateau Frontenac. As for me Id like to extend my thanks to Anne Beaudry who made my stay very memorable.

Thanks, everyone. We had gone to dinner down the road and a stroll afterwards. Passed around the Chateau and found this scene. I thought it was lovely.
Unfortunately, at $289/night - 150 sq ft room with no view, I can't afford to stay there. We did go inside and used the restroom and bought some things in the stores on the bottom floor. I know you need a room key, but when the door's open, you gotta go in.:-) Bynx, how in the world does a high school student afford to stay there? Patty |

Every year grade 12 students plan a trip. Sometimes its to New York City, Montreal, Ottawa or Quebec City. We did the Quebec City trip in time for the Quebec Winter Carnival. We all went down by train and had appropriate chaperones. I hear the Carnival is pretty good to see with lots of events and things to do. Unfortunately I wasnt in a position to do much of that, but I enjoyed my stay there anyway.
