You can rent one of these down near the pier, but be prepared to expend lots of energy, even on level surfaces.

Canon 5D, 16-35 2.8L @ 22mm, ISO 400, f/9, 1/320th sec.

About 40 years ago I pedalled one of these, without sophistications like a roof and rear seats, around what was claimed to be the largest holiday trailer park in the world, by the seaside at Porthcawl, S.Wales, while on holiday in a static caravan with a girlfriend (great) and her parents and dog (not so great).

Back there and then they were called 'social cycles'. I wonder if they're still there. On the cycle we had much more space than when I later took exactly the same party round Devon & Cornwall in my VW Beetle.
