The bird was about 10 ft in front of me. The end of the pier is about 400-450 ft. Canon 5D, 16-35 2.8L @ 35mm, f/5.6, ISO 250, 1/125th sec.

Actually, the menacing clouds had been hanging around all afternoon...but not producing any rain. Made for a nice sunset, tho.

Very nice, Walter. We have the beaches out here, but not too many piers like that to include in photos.
