These strange creatures are on the River Tay waterfront in Perth, Scotland. Again this is my smallest aperture, f/8, on a 36mm equiv. lens, actual focal length 5.85mm, 1/100s, ISO100, hand-held.

The bridge seen in the background of the first shot, above, carries the railway line towards Dundee, and also a footpath.
I nervously hung over its fence onto the tracks to photograph its very sharp curve, with reinforced track, and the fine civic building beyond. On investigation it turned out to be a large water tank. The footpath leads right acrossthe river, but one can descend to a large island (the apparent far bank in the first shot), with pleasant woodland and a golf course. Keen elderly golfers were laboriously carrying their bags of clubs and trolleys up and down the staircase from the path. |

Those make for quite an interesting walk along the river, Alan. Do they go a long ways?
The second photo is nice, too. Patty |

48 miles of creatures? Or, did you think I meant the pathway? Either way, they are cute. Sure would make you want to get out and walk and see what they all look like.

Oops, sorry! There are another two creatures just out of shot on the right. Another shot shows them as well, but the DoF is worse, at f/5.1. There's strange obelisk on the pavement nearby, presumably another artwork, but no clue about what it or the critters are all about. I'll find out in due course.

I like the first shot better than the second. The critters are cute and colorful but I don't think I would like to see many more of them along that pathway.

Those critters on the bridge are cute as heck and as an added bonus meets the challenge. My grandson is enamored by them.
