If you were microwaveable this is how you would see things.

Bynx, you need to be extremely careful when placing your camera in the microwave. All sorts of bad things can happen. If you accidentally turned the microwave on while the camera was shooting a photo, the computer in the camera might totally scramble the magnetron!
Very creative although the lighting could be improved. Cal Last edited by calr; Sep 25, 2009 at 4:29 PM. Reason: word omitted |

The lighting was really tricky. The interior light only comes on when its cooking something. In timer mode no light. The flash doesnt work because it just bounces off the glass door. So that leaves long exposure time. I liked the pic because of the symmetrical balance and the mosaic tile look of the front door. Not a wall hanger for sure, but a different angle on viewing a microwave oven.

I find it interesting and fits the shoot out very well. I'll just keep my camera outside the microwave if you don't mind.

you probably could have photoshopped in your picture and "Faked" it to get a little better light.
but nevertheless i think again you met the challenge criteria well. |

Nice idea here. however, you, being the subject is a bit hard to make out. I'm not sure if there would be a better way of doing this and still be able to show that it is a microwave or not?
You could try putting you head in the oven ![]() ![]() |

Actually Im not the subject at all. The general view looking back is the subject and thats nothing in particular. I thought it would be more natural to see me about to open the door to retrieve my cup of coffee. Last edited by Bynx; Sep 24, 2009 at 11:19 PM. |

By habit, I started moving my head back and forth as I do to see better what's going on in my microwave. Here, it just made me dizzy.
